1. What colors can I order the Zap Mat in? The mat is available in black only.
2. What is the warranty on the mat? The mat is quaranteed against defects in material, workmanship and premature wear for two (2) years.
3. What is the Zap Mat made of? The mat is made of closed cell nitrile rubber.
4. What does closed cell mean? Closed cell rubber does not absorb liquids and are resistant to chemicals and greases.
5. What is the life expectency of the mat? The life expectancy is 3 to 8 years. This is hard to gage because of the various conditions the mat might be under. Keeping the mat clean increases the life of the mat.
6. How thick are the mats? All mats are approximately 3/4" thick. That's why they are so confortable to stand on.
7. With the mat being 3/4" thick will I trip over the edge? All edges are beveled for safety. 
8. Will carts roll over the edge of the mat? Yes, all edges are beveled for ease of cart traffic.
9. What about mold, mildew and bacterial growth on the mats? During the manufacturing process an antimicrobial compound is added to the rubber to prevent mold, mildew and bacterial growth. Of course you also have to clean the mats.
10. How can I clean the mats? The mats can be washed off, pressure washed or run through a dishwasher as long as the temperature is not over 250 degrees.
11. Will cleaning with chemicals damage the mat? The mat is extremely resistant to ammonia, chlorine, bleach and acid cleaners. Follow normal procedures for disinfectant cleaning.
12. Will the mat absorb fats and oils like other mats? No, the closed cell construction make it impervious to petroleum products, animal and vegtable fats.
13. Will the mats burn? A UL94 HBF burn test was done and they self-extinguished in 10 seconds and burned 1/4".
14. What if I need larger mats then you standard sizes? Standard widths are 22", 42", 48", 60" and 72" and can be done any length you want with factory bonding every 72" or when necessary.
15. Is it safe to use may credit card to order mats on the internet? We use the most powerful encryption technology allowed by law. We have enlisted an outside shopping cart company to provide bullet-proof security for online ordering. Your personal information and credit card numbers are entered by you directly into a state-of-the art secure network. 16. Can I order with a purchase order and pay in 30 days? Yes, please contact us for a credit application. Upon approval you will just have to fax us your signed Purchase Order.
17. What if I am not happy with my purchase? We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Please contact us for a return request.
18. Is the Zap Mat available in retail stores? No. At present the mat is only available direct from us.
